Bio
Lovalon is a power trio whose sound mingles the 70's glam of T-Rex and Bowie with buckets of reverb mined from 1950’s rock 'n roll. Formed in 2008 by singer and guitarist David Anthony, Bryan Bee (bass), and Debbie Cee (drums), Lovalon’s original music takes aim at listeners with big hooks, driving beats, and old school attitude. The band recently made its live television debut on the music showcase,“City Nights” (1/28/2011). Always a favorite with music reviewers, The Rocky Mountain News declared, ”Crowds are whipped into such a rock 'n roll frenzy that girls spontaneously shed their under-things!” And Colorado Music Buzz says, “There is quite a cult following that becomes apparent when Lovalon takes the stage.” In addition to their stock of original songs, the band puts its signature stamp on such far-out covers as “Touch-A, Touch-A, Touch Me” (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), “Queen Bitch” (David Bowie), and “These Boots Are Made For Walkin” (Nancy Sinatra).
