LOVE HENRY Nothing Else Fills
The morbidly dark folk crafted by Felicia Fis for her project Love Henry lives up to its namesake (a Dylan tune about the murderous actions of an unrequited lover). In fact, Fis tells a similar tale on “Knoxville Girl’s Revenge,” a lovely story about a girl who cuts her friend’s throat “for a thrill” and hides his body at the bottom of a well (things can only get brighter from there). Bio
The three piece San Diego alternative rock band was created by Felicia Fis. Fis played in the former San Diego bands, The Good O'l Fashioned Future and Burymeinthebackyard. Jon Branch (drummer) and Emily Neidhart (Bassist) add a heavier dynamic rock edge. Branch has played in a variety of bands from San Diego and Chula Vista including genres in jazz, punk, metal, and reggae. Neidhart’s influences are grounded in rock, metal, and alternative music. Love Henry has played at many local venues in San Diego including, Sala de Espera, Til Two, The Office, The Ruby Room Tin Can Alehouse, Brick by Brick, Soda Bar and the House of Blues. The band recorded a 4-song demo with Chris Grundy at the House of Plenty, which was released in the summer of 2011. they released a full length album in July 2014, which can be purchased through CD Baby, Amazon, Itunes and Google Play.
