Bio

In the upstairs of a late Victorian Home, also known as Rosewood Music and home to the band Love Life, three individuals culminate their talents producing the intoxicating music that so many have already come to love. Evan Meeks, Erik Moline, And Dana Johnson have been playing music together for roughly a year now. The sound of the band is a direct representation of their own influences and musical back grounds, as well as a commentary on modern life.
Evan Meeks is known around Jefferson City, MO as a professional guitar artisan. From fixing rare one-of-a-kind relics that Leo Fender made himself to helping the average Jo overhaul their first guitar, he does it all. Evan started to dissect guitars in his parents basement when he was still a young buck in high school, and today gets orders and repairs from people all across the country, as well as orders for special modification of electronical gear.
Erik Moline, beyond being a painter, writer, photographer film maker, and all around entrepreneur, is a self taught musician and producer who has taken great care and pride in mastering the blending of musical sounds created by different combinations of musical genres and tones. He creates every thing from fifties lounge ballads to hip hop, surf, and eighties punk, as well as various variations of the latter. Beyond being the voice of Love Life his charismatic personality is one that hasn't left a crowd cold yet.
Dana Johnson is mostly known for his work in the music education system as a music adjudicator, clinician, writer, and performer. He has performed with Clark Terry, of the Count Basie Orchestra, three times while being the principal drummer of the Southeast Mo. Jazz Ensomble, played several combo gigs with El Buho, a solo musician and featured trumpet player of Phish, as well as numerous other fabulous musicians. Upon reaching his fourth year of college, he was not ready to settle down with a steady career and start a family, so he chose to pursue other matters that have been his life long dream; playing music every night, seeing the country, and touching peoples lives.
Once the three met up and started jamming it was apparent there was a real unique musical chemistry happening. Their goals with music where in check and they have now set out to see where the road takes them, and who in this world is willing to listen. There is no target age group with the band which makes their music seem more timeless that streamline. With their debut album on the wind and them playing as many shows as they can buy gas to travel to, Love Life should soon not only be on your Ipod play list but on your tv's, radio's, and stores. This is one that won't burn out like a firecracker. Put some Love in your Life!
