Lovely Lovers is a band that mixes a multitude of styles and influences to create a truly unique sound, each member contributing his own inspiration to the song, whether it’s Glam Metal, Punk, Folk or Euro Rock.
Under normal circumstances, this outcome would be unlikely. However all the guys from Lovely Lovers grew up together, in the same small town of Enumclaw Washington, and have friendships so close they border on family.
The band was started in 2008 simply with the purpose of having fun. But after a year or so the band began to see success with their live shows as well as their CDs sales, and began to think more seriously. Going into the studio in the summer of 2012, Lovely Lovers completed their most ambitious CD to date: Mr. Bad news. The band would see continued success over the course of the summer, culminating with a victory in The Gorilla Music Battle of the Bands. Where they go next is anyone’s guess, but one thing is for sure, this is a band on the move.
