Love Me Jeffrey is an alt-rock band of friends based in West Los Angeles, California, whose sound (and members) are a delicious mashup of rock and R&B, grunge and soul, light and dark, good and evil. The band, founded in 2017, mixes heavy rock foundations with glossy, luscious soul interpretations. Their debut EP, Colorful Decay, is an homage to live instrumentation, home-grown songwriting, and knock-your-socks off vocals, reminiscent of a different era of music-making where musicality and musicianship were king. When you hear lead singer Sydney Jane’s lilting runs, or guitarist Jesse Nao’s melodic strums, or long-time producer & keyboardist Misha Davidson’s pull-it-all-together prowess, get ready. LMJ might make you feel things you haven’t felt in a long time, or it might make you think of things you tried to forget but just couldn’t. That’s the ethos of this group - maybe you haven’t heard them yet, but you’ve felt them before.
