Love On Mars’s guitar-pop is catchy but complex, sophisticated yet satisfying, with vivid vocal harmonies, and seductively strange guitar chords.
The brainchild of former Bass Player magazine Editor Bill Leigh, who shared an SF Weekly Music Award bringing pop discipline to Stymie & the Pimp Jones Luv Orchestra’s funk-ska mélange, Love On Mars features crafty musical inventions meticulously arranged and executed by SF veterans Rosie Panzarello, Steve Bolinger, and Joe Colgan.
