Ladies and gentlemen it’s my pleasure to introduce to you Lovers Jump Creek. From a couch in Northern Sydney these high school friends thought of something great and from that moment, they’ve never stopped working towards it. This greatness was their debut EP Bless This Mess.

With each member free to bring their creative flare to the production process, the drums, the bass, the guitars and the singing are all separate elements. On a live setting you never know whom to watch. Convert that same passion and energy into an EP and you’ll be exposed to a variety of sounds, each competing for your attention.

Produced by David Hemming, Bless This Mess is a high voltage, dynamic testament to Australian rock. Lovers Jump Creek have chosen to embrace their influences rather than try to cover them. Slight hints of Gyroscope and Closure in Moscow appear over the tracks all infused together with the genuine sound of LJC. And what’s that sound you ask? It’s the sound of young talent mixed with patience and the meticulous placement of each note which serves it’s own purpose.

However it wouldn’t be Aussie rock if it were perfectly polished. The boys escaped this by recording directly to tape allowing room for some dents, buzz and slight imperfections to be heard adding much more character and making it much more unique.

Having played show after show all around the country, Lovers Jump Creek have chosen this moment to release the EP; A time when they have truly nailed their own brand of music.
