BandFolkAlternative

Fence Collective affiliates Love.Stop.Repeat create a willowy, alt-folk sound, a beguiling mix of guitars, harmonium, accordion, ukulele and banjo. NME proclaimed us "09's most deserving of 'doing a Marling' ". PlentySide said "a beautiful voice and a beautiful sound".

Biography

Love.Stop.Repeat - a duo comprising of electronic De-Fencer Con Brio, and singer-songwriter Lindsay West.

Dave 'Con Brio' and Lindsay met via mutual friends at Fife's Fence Collective, after they both found they lived just a few mile apart in Surrey. After playing together towards the end of 2007 they formed Love.Stop.Repeat, recording and putting out their first mini album during the summer of 2008 via the Fence Records webshop. They've been trying to catch up with demand ever since as copies seem to go like hot cakes. They performed their first shows in the autumn in Scotland alongside King Creosote, James Yorkston and other Fence stallwarts and have continued gigging since. The pair are in the studio at the moment recording a new album and have a stack of shows lined up, including more with Fence.
