Love Supply is an eclectic blend of electronica, pop and singer-songwriter melodies, all under the banner of hip hop. We strive for melodic progressions while leaving space for intricate lyricism.
Originally from St. Louis, we now are in University studying media, film, and music. We combine our diverse backgrounds (Juan Luchinni a.k.a Jasper Kid: guitarist, pianist, drummer. And Elliot a.k.a Lucid: writer, filmmaker, visual artist) to create synergy and genuine diversity in our music.
Our greatest influences are Radiohead, New Order, Thievery Corporation, Nas, Black Star, The Roots, the story telling of Bob Dylan, Deadmaus, Gnarles Barkley and infinitely more.
We have been writing and recording music since middle school (orginialy as a garage rock band) and have recently found that the full fruition of our talents is best manifested in hip-hop. We explore the boundaries set by the systemically broad, far-reaching genre, while making it uniquely our own. We have preformed in St. Louis, Nashville and San Francisco, and can get the crowd moving, but also reach people through the messages in our lyrics, while they listen alone.
Love Supply aims to reach people on both a physical, visceral level, and on an intellectual and metaphysical plane.
