Bio
The Lovin’ Kind is a Milwaukee group who has re-emerged as a classic rock band with Beatle and Rolling Stones roots. The Lovin’ Kind originated in Milwaukee in the 60’s and was well known throughout the city, playing Beatles, Rolling Stones, and many other popular songs of the era. The band broke up as the members went off to college and one in the military. You can check out the original members, all teens back then, on our website! Two of the original Lovin' Kind are with of the band today.
All seven musicians, both hard-working and fun-loving, have dedicated themselves to entertaining those folks who truly love a song with a hook and a beat. The music is designed to produce songs that never leave your head and judging by the reaction of a few choice gigs this summer, State Fair and GALA in the Park in Grafton, and Harleyfest we've found the key. Our fans love to dance to our music. The Grafton crowd said we were the first band in six years to get people up dancing! They loved us so much we were invited back for their summer season this summer 2008. We'd love to play for your event and bring out the dancing shoes in your crowd!
