Lowestoft

After two years of writing music Baard Jakobsen, the founder of Lowestoft, decided to gather some of his favorite musicians to try out for his project. This session ended well and from then on the band was set. Lowestoft was founded in late 2011. 

This ambitious band plays music inspried by most genres. From funky rock 'n' roll through mainstream pop-rock, to country- and folk they can guarantee a concert that brings out the dancer and singer inside everybody present. 

Their first live apperance was in June 2012 at Herr Nilsen in Oslo, warming up for Hedda Aronssen. Since then Lowestoft have played concerts in various venues of Oslo, such as Verkstedet, Buckleys, Uhørt (Smuget), John Dee and Rockefeller (Emergenza Festival). Pluss a variety of apparences outside of Oslo. 

In 2012 Lowestoft released their first single called "Savor Your Strenght". This was recorded in Red Line Studios in Oslo. And November 2014 they released their first EP called "Clouds", also recorded in Red Line. March 2015 the band released the sigle "The Light", wich was recorded in the fall of 2013 in Urban Sound Studios. The bands latest release is the single "Lovers In The Night" which was released January 1. 2016. This single was recorded in Urban Sound Studios in the fall of 2015.
