LOYAL ENEMY

B I O G R A P H Y

The band Loyal Enemy originated from a previous band called Zen. Two members of that first band, Mikki Nilsen (vocals/ guitar) and David Rehmann (drums), have been playing together since the age 14, when they formed their first band.

After the early years they changed bass player and sound, deciding it was also time for a name change. Not much later Hadrien Vicedo (lead guitar) got in touch with LOYAL ENEMY, showing his interest in joining the band. They immediately connected and Hadrien became the fourth member, proving to be a prefect fit.

Throughout the first years Loyal Enemy focused on working at their recording studio. There they wrote, recorded and produced not only their music, but also music for TV and for other bands.

In two occasions the band was approached by filmmakers who wanted to work with them. That’s how the two video clips “Panic” (2006) and “One Last Breath” (2007)
were filmed.

After many years of hard work and putting together all the material necessary LOYAL ENEMY decided to make the final big move. In fall 2007 they moved to Los Angeles to promote their music.

Once again they had to leave the bass player behind, but shortly after arriving in Los Angeles they found the missing link, Dave Garcia. Who is now a solid member, giving great input and sound to the band.

As soon as the band settled, they started playing many venues in the LA scene and have gotten great feedback!

M I S C E L L A N E O U S

LOYAL ENEMY have collaborated in the video industry for the last couple years, covering short films, TV adds, and Xtreem sport videos. This is an exciting area for the band to expand their music and they are always ready for new collaborations of the sort.

Mikki N. has also worked in various fields of the TV and music industry aside form L.E, recording and producing other artist and appearing in commercials, music videos, and movies. He was the composer and singer for the song featured in the European "Peugeot Playstation" tv add, and was the model for the 3D animated character in that same commercial.

Dave G. graduated from industrial engineering and worked in the field for some years, when decided he wanted to leave it aside for now to pursue his music career. Since then he has been playing music in Mexico, New York, and now with Loyal Enemy in Los Angeles, CA.

David R. has been making music with Mikki since their beginnings and has been very loyal to the cause. He has had his escapes by working as a studio session musician for some very talented artists.

Hadrien V. has toured Europe as a solo and lead guitarist in several Rock bands before joining Loyal Enemy. In Fall 06, he then moved to Boston (MA) where he graduated in Music Production & Engineering from the Berklee College of Music in December 08.
