turns out im not half bad at football, so from my freshman year in highschool until i graduated from college ive been a football player on scholarship. Football got me through school and got me a free education so of course im thankful for football, but football hasn't been my only love. Since i was a little boy ive been infatuated with words. Finding myself wanting to write letters rather than talk on the phone or what not. Dreams of becoming the next Dianne Warren soon surfaced. See ive realized when youre the best at what you do, you dont have to say youre good because everyone will say it for you. So i had always been in a position where i touched people on a musical level to the point where i was making money from my music even before it was my main priority. Growing up without a father and a struggling mom, i feel im able to relate to many people, which in turn drives people to want to listen to what i have to say. I wont claim to be different than anyone else, but i will say what sets me apart from the rest is im not in it for the money. ive turned down major football contracts just to pursue a music career. so when i write, it isn't just a song im doing just to get money, its because this is what i want my life work to be. so you can almost guarantee any project i start, is going to be done with 100% heart. and i feel that alone seperates me from many.
