BIOGRAPHY:
“L-TEE”, born, Loylin Reid from a humble, poverty stricken outskirt of Montego Bay, Jamaica a young and ambitious “L-TEE” immigrated to Toronto, Canada in the summer of 1996 at age fourteen. His introduction to “Hip-Hop” came in high school via the observance of “Lunch Time,” “Free-Style” sessions that took place daily in the cafeteria. It didn’t take him long to figure out that he wanted to do more than just observe, so he wrote a verse one night and performed it in the following day’s session to nothing but positive reactions from peers and the seed was sewn. His habitual desire to express himself via this creative medium eventually lead not just to a love for all things “Hip-Hop,” but to a new-found passion and respect for all things musical, including the business behind the music.

“L-TEE” takes tremendous pride in his versatility as a “Rapper” and as an artist believing that versatility is one of the major commodities missing in today’s music industry. Combining lyrical ability with seamless flows, tenacity, perseverance and dedicated discipline “L-TEE” believes he has what it takes to elevate himself high above his competition. The struggles endured via his humble, poverty-stricken beginnings have fuelled his desire to do whatever it takes within the margins of his integrity to become a great success in the immediate future and to maintain longevity through-out his musical career.

“L-TEE” is a talented, versatile artist with a confident swagger, having all the essentials necessary to become a successful “Hip-Hop” Superstar! He is featured on the (stylus award nominated) DJ Christylz annually released “megacity mix-tape” series, has collaborated on a mix-tape (str8 4 da ca$h) with fellow Toronto artist Ace in 2005, released a blazing solo mix-tape (mentality of a hustla vol. 1) in 2007, and the February 25, 2011 released new mix-tape (mentality of a hustla vol. 2) which are all receiving extremely positive feedback. He is currently at the beginning stages of promoting his first radio single “do it better” through his own SWAG-A-LIFE RECORDS, with a video being shot in the coming month. He is also hard at work on material for his debut LP with a late 2011 outlook. “L-TEE” promises to take his ever expanding fan-base on an exciting journey filled with entertainment and common sense, from struggle to success.
