The Frame the Shot EP
LT Rubcich/Budapas Split EP

'Fight Fair' played on a college radio station in New Hampshire or Vermont once. It was awesome. That's probably the only single.

Bio

My influences are everything. I work in a grocery store that plays nonstop country. My father is always playing some sort of pop or rap song from like 70's-today. One of my best friends listens to Rush and Supertramp, the other; Eminem, and the other Dr. Dog and Jack Johnson. I feel as if I'm influenced most by bands like Brand New and Manchester Orchestra. I won't lie, every now and then Taylor Swift or Ke$ha comes out with a song and I definitely find myself saying 'I want to write something like that!'

What's my story? I started singing since I was physically able to, little songs hear and there that no one could actually translate haha. Choir in Elementary school. Started playing clarinet in the 4th grade and played until I was a senior in high school. When I was 11, I started with guitar and fell in love with it. Piano around 17 or 18. Ukulele at 19. I love to pick up random instruments and figure them out. I started organizing concerts when I was 14 years old. A lot of people find that neat or surprising but it was a hobby. It was, and is still, something I love doing. My first show that I organized was also the first concert I ever played. 10 acts, including myself, only 3 or 4 local bands. Everyone else was from Maine to Maryland. It was crazy. I ended up pushing the start of the show back half an hour because I was too nervous to go on. That show started everything for me and I've been booking my own shows ever since. I've been in bands and worked with other people but I always end up on my own. Everyone wants the music to go there way, I just haven't found a group of people that compliment my style, or the other way around.

And lastly, what sets me apart from other bands? I'm not really a fan of this question. I feel as if everyone is out there doing their own thing, everyones bringing their talent to the table and everyone deserves respect. I won't sit here and say that I'm better than someone because I don't think anyone is better than anyone. I make my music from the heart and I make it in my way, that's what sets me apart from other bands because they don't make their music my way.
