Jusqu'au boutte (2015)

Vivant (2017)

from various musical influences, LUBIK was born in 2010. Alexandre
Picard, Jean-Sebastien Trudel Langevin, Christian Frenette and Michael
Neault share the desire to see their audience enjoy an extraordinary
festive experience with a resolutely rock show. The group impresses with its naturalness and attracts attention with catchy lyrics supported by contagious energy.
Lubik brings back with Vivant, a second album offering good big French rock with its brutal and muscular sound. Recorded in Abitibi at Northern Studio and directed by Yannick
St-Amand, Vivant is a performance without murmur and lace carried by a
fraternal frenzy.
Their first show was presented more than thirty times across the region. Moreover,
the fact of having participated in several competitions has
definitively enabled Lubik to stand out: first by winning the "Band de
Garage" contest which led them to the Belle et Bum show, then to the
FRIMAT where they won the Audience Award and the Jury Prize. In 2014, their visit to the Dédé Fortin Festival confirmed the facts,
while they won three of the four prizes awarded by the jury.

first album of the band: Up to the end, was recorded by Pierre
Rémillard at the famous Wild Studio and launched in 2014 as part of the
Coup de Coeur Francophone. The
combination of a distorted and raw sound with catchy melodies is
convincing and leads them on tour across Quebec during several major
events: Festival d'Été de Québec, Francofolies de Montréal, support act for
Galaxie, etc. Named
in 2015 at GAMIQ in the Album Rock of the Year and Revelation of the
Year categories, they also had the chance to perform at the event
alongside and in front of their colleagues in the emerging music
industry, a great recognition !
year 2016 was also very busy, thanks to the many shows that allowed
them to warm up the boards for veterans of Quebec rock: Grimskunk and
Groovy Aardvark.
