Luca Severino

I started my musical career at the age of 14 producing my first hip hop beats and local mc's while studying classical piano and then blues, jazz and pop/rock.

I've always looking for complex sounds,so, in 2009 i approached the electronic and techno music world making my debut under the name of HUMMINGBIRDS through the well-known MELODICA RECORDS, home for CUBE GUYS, OUTWORK, GET FAR and many more. 

In 2011 i started a solo career with the dutch label CINEMATIQUE, after some time i started running the management and the A&R of RHAPSODIC RECORDS.

I also made several releases for Rhapsodic, and my tracks have been remixed by some big producers such as Marcin Czubala (Mobileé) and Ryan Davis (Traum).

Two years later i released "Music In You" through Riva Starr's own imprint SNATCH!
The track has been chosen by FLASHMOB as one of the track for representing Italian Deep House scene in the DEFECTED IN THE HOUSE Compilation for WMC Miami 2013.

During the following years i released for many other music labels, bringing my dj sets in Boston (USA), Bucarest,(RO) Zurich (CH), Chamonix Mont Blanc (FR), Milan and Siracusa in addition to my city Bergamo (IT).
In a short time i succeeded in creating my own unique music style, an extremely melodic hint drawing from the classical deep house and techno pattern that is melting with samples, analogical synth and acoustic musical instruments.
My works have been supported and played by dj's and producers such as Magda, Benoit & Sergio, Him_self_her, Steve Lawler, Piemont, Vanilla Ace and many more.

Nowadays, beyond managing my own solo career, i'm involved into the artistic production of some electronic and synth pop bands and singers and i'm also realising soundtracks for short movie and tracks for commercial spot and promotional videos for international brands.
