Bio
I'm singer, actor and composer.
I begin singing yiddish and sepharadi songs in small clubs. then Music Festivals such as the ‘Ciampi’ Prize, Jazz & Image, Klezmer Festival Ancona, Rome meets the World, Jazz In Sardegna and many others.
As actor: Nagg in Samuel Beckett “Endgame”, King Venceslaus in Alfred Jarry “Ubu Roi” and the Magician in Borges “The Library of Babel” – all shows directed by Michelangelo Ricci. I sing as "Jimmy" (basso-baritono) in the "Mahagonny songspiel" directed by M° Agostini, 1998. I'm also an "alter-ego" of the italian writer Luciano Bianciardi directed by Massimo Luconi. In 2003 I perform "Musica per le montagne" (Music for mountains) by Giovanni Guaccero at Contemporary Art Museum "MACRO" in Rome.
A new album entitled “Questa notte suona forte, tutto bene!” (live) comes out by DDF on May 25th 2007.
