Lucci Lamotta

The highly anticipated debut of West Philadelphia native, Lucci Lamotta, (aka Carlo Champagne) has been a lifetime in the making and it has not been any walk in the park for this lyrical prodigy. At an early age Lucci was exposed to an alternative lifestyle outside of the poverty stricken way of life that the streets of Philly had to offer, but trouble still pursued. He first began penning rhymes when he realized his gift while serving a bid in a juvenile detention facility after catching his first charge of many for gun possession at the age of 16. After getting rave reviews from anyone that lent him an ear, Lucci quickly decided to take rap more seriously considering being a high school dropout and the streets quickly closing in.

Lucci credits his vacillate and diverse upbringing and experience of different cultures, that of the under privileged and over privileged, at such an early age for his thought provoking lyrics and versatile ability to attack songs, giving him the broad spectrum and upper hand to effortlessly flow from hardcore street bangers. There is no doubt that Lucci’s gripping style of delivery and uncanny word play, which has been referred to as lyrical linguini, is one that the game has been missing and thirsting for some time now. With the releases of his unprecedented hood certified mixtape “Unparallel” and monumental album rapidly approaching, Lucci Lamotta seem to be on the brink of superstardom and star studded success.
