Bio
Lucho, deriving from the Spanish word meaning "I fight", come out of South-West London, England, with all manner of musical influences and experiences under their belt.
Formed by singer-songwriter Gary O'Brien in 2005, and with the help of friend and fellow collaborator Nick Rye, the band have gone from strength to strength over the last few years, honing their sound with impressive live shows and building up a good following.
The band are currently airing songs from their fourth album "Strictly For The Colourful". A musical concoction of blues horns and slide guitars with strings, saloon pianos and synths, that brings to mind artists such as Harry Nillson, Calexico, The Eels and Tom Waits.
The new line up consists of Gary O'Brien on vocals and guitar, Matt Klose on drums, Adam Burrachi on bass, Nick Rye on keyboards and percussion, Clinton Hough on guitar and Frank Walden on reeds.
