Musical Biography of Luciano Mesiti
Considered by many of his friends and fans to have a sweet yet powerful voice, Luciano has a special quality that has earned him respect and an enthusiastic popular following.
Luciano is a singer, guitarist and songwriter based in Sydney and has been performing for many years.. He has performed in diverse settings , from the Sydney Opera House to campfires. Luciano sings a wide variety of music including opera, folk, pop and rock and everything in between. He has a vast repertoire of songs and his very rich, soothing tenor voice is the perfect partner to his guitar.Luciano is a versatile, captivating, and very entertaining performer.
Luciano is also a sincere and reflective song writer, drawing from his life experiences to create melodic and moving songs. He has been writing songs for many years, and in the last two years has determinedly developed his craft, producing some fine songs in a folk, acoustic and pop style.
His first album of original songs was completed in 2008. This album, “Hold out Your Hand� covers themes of love and loss and reflects on on the origins of his love of music and his family.
In 2005 Luciano released his first album “It’s About Time� with 14 cover songs of classics like “Fire and Rain�.
Luciano was also featured on a compilation album of the Western Fringe Songwriters Network released last year.
Since he was 10 years old, Luciano has pursued his passion for music. Instructed by his father and brother, he began playing the guitar and singing and was performing at an early age. This continued with a variety of talent contests and school shows and in 1980 he performed as a soloist at the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House.
With his vast repertoire of songs from the 1950’s to today, Luciano is available for performing at any social event. He is also available for singing, guitar and song writing tuition. More information about Luciano can be found at Luciano’s websites:
