New York-based LUCK BE A LADY recalls the classic pop-rock bands of the '60s and '70s. The 3-part harmonies of the Beatles, the Stones' swagger, the Kinks' craft, Costello's lyrical-play, and the Zombies' subtleties have all influenced the 4-piece group. These New Yorkers have honed their live skills on multiple national tours, including a stint on the Warped Tour. Their songs mix retro songcraft with modern experimentation by toying with sonic landscapes and non-traditional rhythms.
