Luckylou

For many, luck is something that is highly sought after but for Jermy “LuckyLou” Tassin, it is something that comes naturally. Born in New Orleans, LA in 1986, LuckyLou knew that he had a gift that most didn’t have- a gift to entertain. Being the only boy in his all girls’ family allowed for him not to only take a somewhat dominant role but allowed for him to mature at an early age. Raised by his grandmother and mother, LuckyLou saw what it meant to be a strong individual through the strength of the women around him. In so, he learned to be strong in character as he was able to express himself with his family and was able to go after his dreams.
As time progressed, LuckyLou began embracing his feel for music and his passion for dance. As he began finding his rhythm physically and vocally, he began performing in front of family and friends to what he thought to be his own style of music and dance. Soon, LuckyLou began to focus on his music as he merged his love for rap with a need for clean inspiring music and conclusively came up with what can be call inspirational rap. Listening to him, his friend felt that his sound had the ability to go further than just to his close family and friends and encouraged him expand his sound to others. Taking his friends advice into consideration, LuckyLou seriously began pursuing his music as his career.
Moving forward and wanting to make a change, LuckLou opened ErmyLou Records where he can help other aspiring performers reach their potential. Manning the ship of both Manager and Label Owner, he has found himself making a change from the inside out. Using his leadership experience, passion for music and growth, LuckyLou was able to form a dynamic team. “Through Christ, I am moved. He guides me every step of the way. I believe that I can help others to reach their potential and will do my best to do so. I am not only trying to further my career but also anyone that is inspired by God and is willing to have me helps them“says LuckyLou.
Starting his career on the right path, LuckyLou has released a mix tape called Destine and the singles, That Ninja Cold, LuckyLou With It and Gimmy which were all released and are now available on iTunes. He also created an EP Called Intersection which became well known for the hit Stomp the Violence. Looking to the near future, LuckyLou will be releasing his first album Road to Glory in Winter of 2012. His first single of the album titled Wop Bop will be released in Fall of 2012. This album is meant to stir the senses while bringing his positive perspective to life. “Road to Glory paints a picture to show that even though things can get bad, once you believe, you can do anything with the glory of God. Once we believe in him, the road to glory is ours” says LuckyLou. LuckyLou is currently working on other projects and collaborations which are expected to be released in 2013. Having luck is one thing but being LuckyLou is of another caliber.
