Ludicrous Speed Department

BandAlternativePunk

LSD is a super rad band from Toronto with a DIY attitude. We love to get out there and play gigs and support the music scene and have fun! We love music and love expressing ourselves through it to others.

Biography

Ludicrous Speed Department was formed in 2007 originally as a cover band put together by Patricio Ulloa, Nathan and Justin. In late 2009 Justin had compiled a few songs he had previously written for his solo acoustic project and transformed them into what would be the first original tracks that the band performed. They quickly began writing more songs and played there first gig at Holy Joe's in Toronto. After great reception from the gig the band decided to self record a 4 track demo of there original material. The band is influenced by a lot of 2nd wave emo bands from the early 90's as referenced in there song "I Don't Want To". The demo was released on May 13th and has since been compared to the likes of The Get Up Kids and Dinosaur Jr. The band is currently playing shows in support of the new released demo.
