We had the opportunity to speak with and interview Ludovica over the phone.

Interview with the talented Ludovica:

What is your name/stage name?

Ludovica Angelica Giusti, my artist name is Ludovica.

When is your birthday?

September 11th 1995

Where are you from?

Born in Ortona, Italy moved to Salt Lake City, UT in 2012

What do you do?

Artist, singer, entrepreneur, thought leader, public speaker, media influencer, futuristic, there’s many titles to my name.

How long have you been making music?

I was born into it but I started releasing my own exactly two years ago.

What was your first song/project?

When I was little I would always twist songs’ melodies or make up my own gibbering my way through them, and I think it was the young songwriter in me expressing, but as I grew older I started discovering my writing style. The first time I ever laid down something completely of my own was in 2014, I’m keeping the song title for now because it will be in the album.

Who’s your inspiration?

My nonno is my greatest inspiration. Everyday I’m reminded I’m endowed by him. I gotta carry myself differently because of his name. I was his only niece so he always made me feel extra special.

What genre of music do you create?

I dabble in different art forms, Rnb, pop, new age, neo soul I like to experiment

Do you come up with your video concepts?

I have creative directed most of my released projects and the ones that are not out yet.

What was it like working with Geronimo Vannicola?

Met Geronimo on clubhouse a year ago. This guy worked with Viacom, Roc Nation, Fat joe, Freeway from Roc Nation, Tempotv, Micheal Blackson, he has even been recognized by the academy. My last trip to Atlanta this past January, that’s when me and Geronimo finally had the chance to meet in person. Needless to say, from when we locked into that weekend long studio experience we knew we wanted to create more hits. And now, we are definitely in it for the long term. Geronimo is now my executive producer. A year of building, a year of hard work and genuine vibes can shape you some of the strongest connections you’ll make in this industry. Believe your work is working for you.

What are some features you have?

I’ve recently announced to my audience I’m working on two albums simultaneously and one of them is full of some of the craziest pens around the US and outside. I’m very proud of that project. I’ll be dropping a song featuring my friend Mike Darole this year, me and Mike have been working on this for a while and we were planning on releasing it soon. Unfortunately Mike passed away in 2021 due to gun violence. The song will be out and will be dedicated in his honor.

What are some features you want to get?

Working in Atlanta broadened my eyes to the talent that is really present in our industry. I’ve met a couple people there that I would love to collaborate with. I guess you’ll just have to wait and see.

Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with? There is this really talented kid in NY named Emawk. There is actually a handful of others. I’d love Queen Naija, Tobe Nwigwe, Domani, I also listed to a lot of rap. On my rap wishlist I have: LilBaby, Fetty, Ye, Loyel Carner, Asap, Travis, Breezy, Nicki to name a few.

Are you signed to a label? Independent as of now.

Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?

Only if it makes sense.

Who are your biggest supporters?

My biggest supporters are my day 1s, but recent supporters are a strong flock. It is like they say, aint no love like the love strangers show you.

Where did your name come from?

My grandpa from my dad side, he was head over hills about my name but I was actually named after my great grandmother’s last name, I know..don’t know many people named after a last name.

Do you write your own material?

Always. But I’m very open to share the pen when it’s right.

What are you currently working on?

Buckle up for some quality content. Body paint is coming February 25th. Working on launching my first NFT project. I will also be dropping my first ever collection, I don’t like calling it merch, I’m not selling regular merchandise, my line is a clothing line, a statement and a way of living which is Liberated. Like a bird…like songbirdz.

When is your next release?

Body Paint coming to every platform February 25th

Are you the type to pull up alone or with a group of people?

It really depends. I am really comfortable with myself but if it just so happens I’m around my circle we most definitely show out together.

What is one stage you want to sell-out?

If we could take it back to the arenas, without hesitation, Madison Square Garden.

Where is one place you want to travel to perform?

I would love to do a R&DanceHall Tour all over the Caribbeans, watch out for that.

Who produces your music? Geronimo Vannicola is my executive producer, part of the production team is my dear teammate and fam Orion Drake aka Smoov, been working together from the very early days of my career.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I absolutely want to see my two studio projects shine in their brightest light, I see myself doing more NFT work and contributing to my community in art forms. I do see myself married to an exceptional man and I want my baby boy!

What’s your favorite clothing brand?

My achille’s heel! Fashion is a passion. Been in love with Yeezy, off white, been truly rocking with Chromehearts lately, I just love everything that they do.

Where do you shop?

I have my favorite spots. Love repping my family Global Currency, You’ll Like it Here, LourdsLoud, StichedEmotions, Jurllyshe, Fashionnova, I’m a shoe lover as well, if it’s not almost any time of heel, my go to sneakers is air force 1s in any color and shape.

What’s your favorite type of car?

Rolls Royce. Don’t know if Im supposed to pick that one…as an Italian I’ll always have Lamborghini and Ferrari in the back of my mind though!

What’s your favorite place to travel to?

I love nature, and the most paradisiacal landscape I actually found is in Switzerland. Been over 20 times. Gorgeous.

Meet Ludovica Trending Music Artist On The Rise

Rome made, now in the US. Ludovica is a rising artist. She started music in 2020 and already broke records! She surpassed her first 180K views, 80K all-time streams, and 60K Spotify monthly listeners in the first 6 months of her career. Released her first record label collaboration through EMPIRE Distribution, Inc. on her LudovicaVEVO.
NYU Tisch Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music Billboard & Music Leaders graduate.
Student of legend Stevie Mackey, vocal coach of Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Jhené Aiko and more, and Mindy Pack, vocal coach of Miley Cyrus, Sam Smith and more.
Ludovica has been a professional model and actress as well for about six years. Modeled and appeared in UTFW, LAFW, NYFW and many more occasions.
Ludovica’s music is self reflective so she writes a lot about her relationship with herself or herself with others. Her music speaks to people that are either like her or her opposite. In either case, it is definitively for someone who is focused on a form of self reflection that is far from being bias, and instead it is objective, because in objectivity we see how we fit into this world, what role we are going to play, and to understand if we are going to be our own strangers or our own proponents. Themes? building oneself up after hardship, growth, and life-navigation reflections.
What can Ludovica’s listeners learn from her? They can either be both their own curse and proponent or one of the other.
Why is that important to know? Because people are in denial and in coping mechanisms. Ludovica’s sense of care about relativity, how things have to do with her, and how things affect one another explain her music.
How would you describe the sound of your music? I would say it’s an ambience more than a sound. Whatever emotion you have inside, my music helps paint it in brighter colors to make sense of it.
Additional Things that may be interesting to mention:
Ludovica is not just into the music biz, she is a business owner with her website ludovicaofficial.com, her merch will be launching soon, subscribe to her email list to not miss a thing!

"Breaking Genre Barriers With Ludovica Giusti"

This artist grabbed our attention through networking on the popular new social platform called "Clubhouse". Being a beautiful boss, moderator, artist, and musician are just a few hates worn by this queen. Ailing from Italy and landing in Mesquite Texas this songbird is gaining attention through her versatile style and unique look making social scrollers do a triple look when passing her profile. Through art, social media and genre crossing music this artist (in every sense of the word) is gaining traction and we were lucky enough to lock in a front row seat. With grace, vibes and a bit of graffiti we bring you Ludovica Giusti.

Q: Where are you from and what got you into music?

A: Made in Italy. I don't know what got me into music, you would have to ask my parents, just playing. It's a generational thing. My family has always been in music. It goes back to when my great great grandparents sang while working.

Q: You started out singing Opera, what made you start to explore other genres?

A: As a child I traveled all over Europe and I experienced different genres, and after studying in the conservatory for about five years I was gradually discovering that my voice was just more on the soulful tone so I gave r&b the space it deserved.

Q: We read that you play Violin, Flute and Piano. You are also skilled in painting, sculpting and graffiti. Which of these would be your career if you were not gifting us your voice?

A: Too easy, I have to go with my second love, art. I spent most of my childhood and teenage years studying art, painting, graffiti art, and everything involving street art is my passion.

Q: What brought you to America? What was the biggest culture shock?

A: I was 16 turning 17 and I decided I wanted a change of lifestyle, my town was getting violent and opportunities were just disappearing so I decided to visit somewhere where I could gather a completely different experience and give back. There isn't such a thing as the biggest culture shock, everything was a cultural shock.

Q: So, you had a horrible car wreck that impacted your career. Can you tell us about that situation and what motivated you to keep going?

A: I was 18 and I was driving to school when a bus hit my car, I was left injured but decided not to go to the hospital because I was a broke international student. I self-healed and what got me going was realizing that I was just granted a second chance.

Q: How would you describe the music you make? What genre would you fall into?

A: It's very self-reflective. It's music that leads you to forget about biases and look at life under an objective lense to figure out if you're your obstacle or your own proponent. Forever r&b! My newest tracks touch neo-soul, contemporary r&b and new age.

Q: You managed to gain over 180k views, 80k over all streams, and distribution through Empire records. How have you managed to stay on top during the pandemic? Has anything changed for you and your team?

A: Staying busy hasn't been an issue, without so much traveling happening I really had the time to sit down in the studio and write. My team expanded and we made the most out of the tools we were left with.

Q: Which artist do you see yourself working with?

A: I have been itching for a caribbean beat for a minute, trying to work with Beam. I'd love to make some new age magic with Charlie Puth or Jacob Collier some day!

Q: To our listeners that have not heard of you what songs would you recommend them listen to?

A: I'd say check them all out right now because the sound is about to be different. We will be switching up vibes really soon!

Q: Where can they go to follow your work?
A: Ludovica on All music platforms, watch my music videos on Youtube, follow me on Clubhouse and Facebook all under Ludovica, find me on Twitter and Ig @ludovicasongz - Under Raps Magazine

Ludovica
@ludovicasongz

When did you start to get interested in music?

The earliest memory of me singing is at 2 years old.

If you were an advertisement, which would your slogan be?

“Go get yourself a Ludovica”

Which is the part you enjoy the most about music?

The whole process is mesmerizing. I’d say recording.

Most artists say that through their art they learn more about themselves, heal injuries… In which aspects has music helped you?

Of course, any attention you put into something is going to teach you more about you. Even though I don’t really approach my craft as a self curing/self mending remedy I just observe my patterns, I reflect them into songs/ideas and once they’re out, they’re there for the world not so much for me.

What does music mean to you?

It means my legacy is building and that’s never erasable. So I gotta be impeccable.

Who are your idols?

Just people I heavily admire, respect and look up to, I don’t idolize and I hope my fans don’t do that with me either. But I can’t answer that without it being more specific. There’s a list of people I admire for bravery, there’s a list for which I respect the resilience of their character, there is hands full for which I look up to for their all around talent and persona, so it really depends.

If you didn’t like music, what would you like to do?

Wow, I’d be a car racer or a street artist.

Do you consider that nowadays there are more or less opportunities for new artists? Why?

About the same as ever because you are actually the opportunity. No excuses, if you need it to happen you find a way.

What would your idyllic life as an artist be like?

Stability. The process towards a big career leads you to make some changes and some of those sometimes ask for your stability to be put somewhat at risk. Just remember that you can’t achieve this unless you sacrifice everything you need to sacrifice, but never compromise on what makes you, you, your pillars, what you know to be true for yourself, your personal mental, emotional, physical and moral stability. Build that stronger every single day and you’ll be undefeatable.

Which are your upcoming projects?

I’ve got some stuff in the works, you’d have to stay tuned for that. - Artenzza

- Artenzza Discovering Artists

“This is an extremely special song stemming from a real and personal place in my life, emotion wise, I truly think people will rethink about how essential it is to not put the blame on someone or point fingers, you hold the answers to every problem you just gotta work together,” Ludovica explained.

“Answer” is not just a typical love song. The song explains real emotions that we don’t often address. This always leads to conflict and it’s always too late to fix when things go wrong.

Ludovica is an extremely unique artist in today’s modern music industry. She utilizes custom-made beats produced by her fellow artist Smoov which resonate with her the first time she hears them. “I don’t usually pick typical beats, nothing from YouTube,” shared the rising star.

When asked what motivated her to pursue a career in music, Ludovica said: “I was once asked what keeps me going in music? It’s not about what keeps me going, I can’t do without it.”

“I recognized that music is my true essence, the reason we are on this earth is to find our purpose. You can look and sound like someone else but your actions are what separates you from everyone else. I’m extremely strong on moving forward in this industry the way I want to, the way that feels real to me,” she added.

For Ludovica the accident was far from the end, as something inside her fought through the pain and aided her in the writing of her first song.

Working To Change What Society Deems “Good Enough"

"Rising Star Ludovica Angelica Giusti Answers a Burning Question That’s Been o"

In the past couple of months, the rising Italian-born singer/songwriter Ludovica has received countless questions from her fans and listeners on how she has been able to fund moving around so much in the music industry while juggling a very demanding full-time job. This time, she finally sets the record straight, shedding light on the topic of her funding and delving deep into the history of her professional career.

After graduating college, Ludovica thought that it would be appropriate to specialize in the industry that she was about to dive into. So, she enrolled in the NYU-Tisch Music Business program and graduated soon after. At the same time, she would utilize the skills she acquired in the corporate world by moving from one customer service experience to another, all the while investing her finances in her upcoming music career.

Ludovica’s nine-to-five job was the only resource she had to pay for her bills and fund her music projects. Last year alone, the emerging artist managed to invest about $40,000 without the help of any investors, donors, or sponsorships of any kind. She firmly believes that there are several keys that an artist should take into account before they wholeheartedly begin their musical career.

First and foremost, they need to build a core team around them that are willing to come along their journey. “The treasure behind having a core team with you besides the great connections is that a house built by the strength of differently skilled people will come out much greater than a house whose jobs were performed by one person only,” explained Ludovica. Secondly, building services that are needed in the community that reflect your brand and character.

In line with this, Ludovica created her second source of income with her clothing brand SB1. “Nowadays, artists can no longer make a substantial living by music alone. Create different streams of income for yourself by creating original business ventures,” shared Ludovica. She also emphasizes that aspiring artists will need to invest every necessary penny in the things that they know for certain will unlock a new level of credibility, personal success and brand ownership.

“For example, if you decide to stick to a job, invest where you can in a high-quality music video that you know will capture the eyes of the public and experts, or invest in the quality of mixes of your music so that it can get heard at high levels, ‘bad mixes stop at the entrance door of opportunity.’ Invest into a good quality campaign or press run that you know will allow you to shine the light your projects deserve and take you to the next level to unlock more doors,” advised Ludovica.

“You can take yourself upstairs. Many rely on the elevator; the elevator is busy taking everybody else from floor to floor. Use the damn stairs. Sweat a little,” said the rising artist. Lastly, Ludovica shares that leveraging “plugs” and connections to get flights, hotels, transportation, deals on studio time, film editing, designers, spaces, rentals, or just about any other service out there will greatly improve one’s chances at success. She advocates reciprocally supporting those services as they can be incredibly valuable.

So, to put it simply, Ludovica has been able to fund her entire music career by being smart in the realm of Music Business Management. Her expertise and knowledge in the field are incredibly vast, which is why she has shared these nuggets of knowledge with her fans and other aspiring musicians. With this, she is able to help other aspirants claim their success and explain to her fans how she has been able to stay successful all these years. Ludovica is truly an inspiration not just for her fantastic music but for her business expertise as well. - Influencer Daily

"Ludovica's Music is Self-Reflective"

Ludovica’s music is self-reflective so she writes a lot about her relationship with herself or herself with others. Her music speaks to people that are either like her or her opposite. In either case, it is definitively for someone who is focused on a form of self-reflection that is far from being bias, and instead it is objective, because in objectivity we see how we fit into this world, what role we are going to play, and understand if we are going to be our own strangers or our own proponents.

Objectivity is being able to look at yourself without any bias. Fairness is being able to know within yourself if you’re your own advocate or your own curse.

Her themes consist of, building oneself up after hardship, growth, and life-navigation reflections.

What can Ludovica’s listeners learn from her? They can either be both their own curse and proponent or one or the other.

Why is that important to know? Because people are in denial and in coping mechanisms and that is the illness of the world.

Why does Ludovica think she has so much to say in first person? Because she has a sense of care about relativity, how things have to do with her, and how things affect one another. And those accounts will explain her music. - HipHopSince1987

"Ludovica Becomes People’s Beacon of Hope Through Her Single, “Church Goer”"

Beyond serving as an accompaniment to one’s most undesirable moments, the value of music is immeasurable. It has served not only as a mode of self-expression for artists, but it has also stood as an effective medium that musicians can wield to inspire action, provoke thought, and transform lives. In the case of Ludovica, one of the industry’s must-watch forces, music has become a channel that enables her to establish a connection and build bonds with her audience.

Ludovica is an emerging singer, songwriter, and creator born in Italy who is widely recognized not only for her soulful voice but also for her distinctive artistry and impressive discography. Since the start of her promising career, Ludovica has always had an incredible affinity for beats, rhythm, and music. She would often create music that spoke volumes of her unparalleled talents and deep-seated love for the craft.

This talented personality is unlike any ordinary artist across the arena. While other musicians highlight their craft as a medium for self-expression, this artist focuses on music’s ability to send powerful messages across the world. Fully cognizant of the power that music holds, Ludovica has made it her mission to use her fast-growing platform to let people know that she understands what they are going through and that they are not alone.

In times of joy and happiness or even in moments when people feel saddened or frustrated, the rising artist aims for her songs to be go-to tracks for every emotion, enabling listeners to be in tune with what they are going through. On a mission to translate this purpose-driven vision to fruition, Ludovica has recently released a single that speaks volumes of her direction as an artist. “Church Goer” is a song that allows people to sing and feel in times of sadness and frustration, enabling them to acknowledge their emotions. “In situations where hypocrisy reigns supreme, ‘Church Goer’ becomes a reference that tells a story of people doing and saying things that do not reflect who they truly are,” shared the musician.

In an interview, Ludovica revealed that “Church Goer” did not entirely speak about hypocrisy. As a matter of fact, she explained that this song also taught listeners to become wary of others, encouraging them to guard their peace. “Don’t always believe in people’s words. Believe in their actions, and they will always show results,” explained the artist. Through her single, Ludovica hopes to maneuver people in the right direction, becoming their beacon of hope in difficult times.

From a seed containing a passion for connecting with her audience and establishing a bond, Ludovica has now evolved into an emerging artist committed to the mission of standing as a beacon of hope for people across the world. In the coming years, she plans to impact more lives and catalyze change one track at a time. - Disrupt Magazine

"Meet Ludovica Giusti | Singer Songwriter"

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ludovica Giusti and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ludovica, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I’ve come to a point where taking risks is actually the norm. My risk taking is my normal decision making for somebody else because, in my opinion, if I wouldn’t die or give my all to something than that’s not for me.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Obviously nothing that can’t be build in one day is easy. A legacy takes so much time and energy and that’s basically the type of work I have been doing. I learned a lot about who I am during the process, and what kind of art I should focus more on and with that I solidified how I brand myself and the things I speak about. It’s an ongoing progress but try to stay true to who you’ve always really been. What sets me apart is that my work is organic to me. And sorry to burst anybody’s bubble but that’s also the one and only trait that separates anybody apart, because art will always speak louder if the artist was real or not when bringing it to life, it’s that simple. Your favorite artists have been “goats” rights? the ones that always kept it real, sometimes we forget that’s the ingredient, the game changer ingredient. Stick to it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So I’ve lived in Salt Lake City, Utah for the past nine years so I would take them only to the most fire places! Shout out to The Palace and of course my favorite food spot Ruth Chris downtown.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost I would like to give all the deserved shine to my parents, whom without their support and constant love none of what I am doing would be possible. I also would love to give flowers to my loyal team members, Orion Drake aka Smoov who’s been with me since day one and my Executive Producer Geronimo Vannicola.
