Luis Emilio Batallán

Luis Emilio Batalln (Santiago de Compostela, September 18, 1948) is a composer, musician and Spanish singer who started his musical activity in the 70s. Their first LP, A see or maio, became the biggest selling album in Galician and reached about half a million sales. 

"Ah ven o Maio", their first album was a bestseller and sold over half a million Copies. That LP will introduce Alvaro Cunqueiros poem "No nio do voo do vento", remastered with the title "Quen poidera namorala .In 1990, appears Ballet da nena and in 1992 releases "Eres un frmaco". Luis Emilio Batalln released his fourth album in 2007, "Tu retrato". This LP participated Joaqun Sabina and Pablo Milanes.

Now he is going to release his fifth album: "Haba que chegar"

In 2014 he was awarded the prize for the Galician Musical Heritage
