Lukas Kasha

Lukas Kasha is one of the most exciting and uplifting bands coming out of the Norwegian rock scene in years. With little regard for what is considered the current kosher genre hybrid, the six-piece finds pieces to mould it's energetic rock in all kinds of strange places, being just as likely to dive into stabbing guitar rock as making new romantics soundscapes or melodies reminiscent of a time when pop was still art. Layering it all, they create a rich and distinct sound with a never resting drive.

Lukas Kasha rocketed out of the underground with the hit single «Love Abuse» from their critically acclaimed debut album «Animated People's Republic», spending more than four months on hot rotation on Norwegian radio. The song was also featured on EA's FIFA 2008 football game.

But it's when seeing Lukas Kasha live their pulsating energy really hits you, with their powerful presence and sheer playfulness, which often causes band and audience to end up as one dancing, collective whole. They toured extensively throughout 2007, and are currently working on their second album.
