Bio

Luke Alibozek is a singer/songwriter out of New Hartford, CT, who is bringing genuine emotion back into song writing. The heartfelt words and stories of his music melt the listener into the colorful world he has molded, and the melodies forever echo a joyful tune in the chambers of time. A constant curiosity and genuine personality ensure that such a talent will continue to grow and thrive in a music world often tainted by bubblegum and cardboard emotions.

Versed in many musical facets, Luke is a multi-talented individual who often is referred to as a one-man band. In September of 2009, he released his debut CD, “The Sound of Everything”, an entirely one-man project, into a flurry of glowing reviews from fans and critics alike. The quick-paced, bluegrass/acoustic feel of the opening track “The Burning Man”, mixed with its sad and vengeful lyrics open the CD to an explosive start, leading into a wide array of emotions not meant to be held by a 21 year old from suburban Connecticut. The sad regret of a lost love in the track “Gone” reverberates a strong feeling of deprivation, and in a natural healing succession is followed by the sloshed joy of the “Piano Man”-like drinking song “What Fools Are We”. Soon the listener is blindsided by a strange tale of murder and beauty in the track “The Garden”, which is then contrasted with the powerful and angry political message in “They All Will Fall Down”, providing a diverse look into a deep thinking mind and a large, aching heart.

Luke Alibozek’s live shows are nothing short of enchanting, swapping from instrument to instrument, and filling halls with a choir of chanting souls. In addition to his profound compositions, he often engages in putting a unique spin on many classic tunes, sure to get anyone on board. Reminiscent of a young Billy Joel or John Denver, Luke lives for the song and the strength elicited by such time-transcending vehicles.
