“Luke has the rare ability at such as young age to really connect with his audience. He is an excellent musician, singing and playing the guitar like a seasoned veteran with many years of experience. His song writing style shows a lot of maturity in both the lyrics and music. His show is energized, keeping his audience engaged.”

“I really do have a lot of respect for you as a person and for your God given talent. You are using your gifts to their fullest.”

Bio

Hailing from the small town of Bath, Michigan, Luke's sound explores many different genre's of music in any given set by reaching across the aisle and making you smile whether you have a hankerin' for more, contemporary sounds, alternative/bluegrass or Folk!

"We love variety...Who knows... one of us might just get bored playing our own instrument, walk over and start playing someone elses instrument just to switch it up a little!" Luke notes.

His material seems to ricochet off all of those musical categories while keeping God at the center of it all....right where He should be.
Luke's apparent love for music actually started in the kitchen.
Because of his love of various rhythms, you could often find him at his own little drum set made out of bowls and spoons. "My mom's pots & pans still have dents in them from me whacking away." Luke says.
However, the first (non-kitchen utensil) instrument Luke started playing was the violin when he was 4 years old. Over time, (and after many years of squeaking) that led to the guitar, mandolin, bass guitar, and eventually to singing.
"I love writing songs...but each one comes in a different way and at a different time or setting. I can't just sit down and write one on command...I have to feel it." he says.
Luke wrote one of his songs (Lone Star Texas) while mowing his front lawn. "Every time something funny or that sounded cool would pop into my head, I would run in the house quick and write it down before I forgot!"
"I thought it was kind of a dumb story at first...but people usually get a kick out of how that song came to be!"
