Bio
Formerly (and occasionally, still) a drummer/vocalist on the NY/NJ area music scene, Luke Liddy was also the original front man/singer/guitarist and primary songwriter for alt-country/rock band Crazy River as well as popular folk/rock band Wry Toast.
He recently returned to his acoustic singer/songwriter roots again with the April, 2011 release of his latest EP, Back Door Rain.
Influenced by the likes of singer/songwriters Gordon Lightfoot, Loudon Wainwright III, Guy Clark and many others, his songs often reflect an overall optimism even in the face of hard times.
He was chosen as a 2011 Solarfest finalist and has performed at the NY Songwriter's Circle, NJ Folk Festival as a New Folk Winner, and countless coffeehouses, festivals and other venues in the Northeast and beyond.
