I am a nrth coast singer songwriter that grew up in rural nsw in a musical family with bush bands rehersing and giging around me right through my child hood I began writing songs in 1995 and really only started thinking i was able to play my own songs in 2003 at a peace rally in coffs habour with 2000 people I set up my amp and played for half an hour to the crowed with applause and invites to other rallys comming from that I cut my teeth at bellingen,nambucca heads and parliment house converge on parliment, with the great guitarist Paul Bulyani playing lead and slide,playing to crowds of up to 3000 people. with this I realized I better write some songs and learn to play more than four chords .In the years following I added 12 string guitar ,slide guitar,harmonica and stomp box to my repotoire and have written around 40 songs in wich i now perform around 30 in three sets ,folkroots(aquarius set) blues roots(reap set )and country rock set and now rehersing a grunged up set of songs . Ive performed at festivals ,markets and supported local and international acts.I am looking to enter the festival circuit. my influences are mixed from Ron mclaughlin( bush and traditional) ,red gum,woody guthrie,ben harper, jethro tull ,bob dylan,john butler trio ,rodreques,harry manx,loe kotte . Ive endevoured to keep my own style and sound wich sets me apart from the masses . original austalian new folkrooots
