Bio
Born the youngest of four children, Lummani (Aquarius, born January 31, 1993) was born and raised in Altadena, California. On that very day, one of the biggest stars of our time, Michael Jackson, was performing a medley of songs at the Super Bowl XXVII Halftime Show at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, passing on some of his star power to Lummani. She began showing her interest in singing as a young toddler and began exhibiting her talent when she began singing in a gospel choir at the age of five. She vividly remembers one special day when she was just five years old. "I had joined the choir of my church, and the choir director was leading a song and asked who wanted to sing it. I just grabbed the mic and started singing; I was so excited! And everyone was, like 'Oh my God, I can't believe how this little girl can sing! 'Since then, Lummani has accomplished may live solo performances, with her first being at the age of eight, where she performed for a Tribute to the Victims of September 11th, sponsored by The American Red Cross. Lummani has been featured on Fellys Power 106 Soul Call, Gap Back to School Commercial, Ludacris & Mary J Blidges Run Away Love Music Video and so much more. Throughout the years of performing in parades, school talent shows, charity events, church choirs and other live performances Lummani has become known as the "little girl with a big voice." Whitney Houston is Lummanis favorite singer, followed closely by Mariah Carey, Beyonce and the late Selena. The making of my debut album, says Lummani, "has been a learning experience. When I first went into the studio, I was a little uncertain--I didn't know what was going to happen, but when I got into the booth and started singing, I felt so relieved. I was doing something I love to do!"
