Bio

Lumo-Da-Great Bio (the best u ever heard) L.D.G. A.K.A. Lumerson Castellin was born in the slums and the heart of the ghetto in Guenve Haiti, on August 22nd 1984. His mother stated “ever since Lumo was a young child, he would always sing and dance, so I knew from then that he wanted to be an entertainer.”Years later, L.D.G. moved from Haiti up to Florida, The Sunshine State. L.D.G. is an acronym for Lumo Da Great; but besides that meaning, to him it stands for love, the grind, money and time that he sacrificed for what he always wanted, even it meant by sweat, tears or shedding blood for it. L.D.G. is a very determined individual, who despite of the struggle always kept his head up for that brighter day. “Life is rough out here, ain’t nobody gonna give you shit in life, I was always taught, you gotta go get it yourself if you want it.” L.D.G.’s music is a mixture of Hip Hop and R&B. He was influenced by music Gods like: 2Pac, Slick Rick, Sade, Scarface, Al Green, even Duffy. His favorite songs were Slick Rick’s “Young World” and 2Pac’s “Keep Ya Head Up.” Early on at the age of ten, L.D.G. took to writing various styles of music; such as ghetto poetry, loose narratives, and all different genres. This lead L.D.G. to write several songs like “Lord Came Bangin” and “Thug Lifestyle” (which both later featured M.O.B.), “Dreams”, and “So Gud” (which later on featured S.Chem and Champ), just to name a few. L.D.G. graduated at the top of his class at Coconut Creek High School. During his days at Coconut Creek High School, his free writing morphed into full-fledged shocking rhymes, but was kept a secret. He later picked up the courage to perform in front of people. “When I started rhyming and singing outside at school, that’s when everyone started telling me, I should shop your material, and this is before I even got in the studio.” L.D.G.’s childhood friends, who also rap, S.Chem and Streetz approached L.D.G. with an idea of becoming a label. They asked L.D.G. if he wanted to be a part of the crew, he accepted. “I always felt like if I was to get into doing Rap professionally, that I wanted to get into it with somebody who was from my neighborhood; who better than the people I’ve known my whole life.” S.Chem and L.D.G. came up with the name Break Bread ENT. L.D.G. is the CEO of Break Bread ENT. He is also, the founder of Lost Infantreez and M.O.B. (Money on Blood). L.D.G. appeared on local mixtapes, becoming one of the world’s best unsigned rapper/singer with amazing rank. He has kept the boat sailing from state to state getting it on the grind, and determined to shine. Constantly keep in it crunk, representing (954) Broward County to the fullest and all around Florida. Even through the struggles he was always willing to go out his way to make the unthinkable actually happen. S.Chem said “He lives in the studio bringing that gangsta shit for the streets and that sexy R&B shit for the ladies.” L.D.G. is so incredible with a craft in music; a lot of people know him for his catchy hooks, some say he is the “true Captain Hook.” Dj Immortal said, “with the hooks seriously I witness him get inside the booth and make hits from what I hear it’s nothing new 2 him this guy; he is amazing every time.” While in the studio with S.Chem, DJ Immortal, and Moondogg, L.D.G. has associated with others in Broward County, Dade County, Palm Beach County, and Polk County. L.D.G. said, “I’ve been promoting the name by releasing several mixtapes, internet radio and doing shows. Also, networking with the best and a lot of people in the underground; Such as Break Bread Ent, Lex Promotions, M.O.B. (Money On Blood), Grind Mode, D.M.X., Larry Dogg, Lil Bass, Mecca Grimo, Poe Boy Records, Trina, Huge Hays, Crime Inc Clothing line, Fokus clothing line, 1st Offense, Tysum modeling Agents, J.T.- money, Brisco, Toney Lasain, Juvenile, Thrilla, Dr. Kush, Red eyes, Bad Breed, Mbiez and O Dogg.” “Straight up for real always stay true to anything you ever do and always keep God first.”
