Bio
Luna Achiary is a young Italian-French musician, singer and songwriter.
Born and raised in Italy, she arrived in Los Angeles in 2010 to record her first EP “Till the Instinct Wins” which was released on June 10th 2011.
Her musical knowledge derives from her mother, a jazz singer and vocal coach, and her father, a tenor at the time. Thanks to piano, percussion, vocal and music lessons, Luna has developed an attuned ear which allows her to write in a unique and honest style. Watching her parents, she grew up in the world of music, constantly observing musicians performing on stage and in the studio.
Luna plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar and piano, but is not afraid to jump on any instrument and create something musical.
Her music comes from different influences and genres, mostly progressive, acoustic, alternative.
Luna is currently in the middle of recording her second solo project, “More Human than God”, an album of 13 tracks c.ca. The approximate deadline is end of September 2013.
