Bio
Lunara began in 2004 with Nicolas Morales, Matt Lopez, and Henry Largo. Their songs have been often described as "coming-to-a-boil", creating chaotic climaxes from the frailest of beginnings. Before they created the band, the three had been experimenting in different grundge, pop-rock, and punk bands. These prior experiments in other genres gave Lunara its distinct audio attributes: Loomingly dark yet powerful riffs on guitars and bass while the percussions up the punk factor giving the band's sound that deadly edge.
Utilizing every note and beat to create sound storms is what makes the trio a force to be recogned with. The joy and passion the group brings to this intense music during their live performances often leaves crowds awstricken and pleasantly refreshed from the ever-increasing cookie-cutter music scene.
The band's self-produced debut e.p. entitled "A Life on Film", released in July '07 shows the band's unique visions on music as well as their dedication toward pushing the band as far as a band can go.
