BandAlternativeRock

A Indonesian 4-piece alt-rock band, when Radiohead, Bloc Party to classical and industrial combined into one. Lunarian makes the crowd move with intense energy & emotion with the music and live performance. Smart and rich, yet enjoyable.

Biography

"Lunarian likes to go beyond boundaries set by the industry standard while staying true to rock-n-roll music. They often sail the outer rim of sight and sound but never venture past the ear shot of humans nor their basic instinct to enjoy a catchy tune. Influenced by so many artists ranging from Rammstein, Radiohead to Baroque & classical music, you will experience a new age of rock music as they brand their own trademark style. Unusual breakdowns & progressions, vintage & modern sound mixed with abstract-poetic lyrics which speak loud and true... *love*war*conspiracy theory*anti-social*political* All reflections of their society and life experiences. Lunarian is CUTTING EDGE. REAL ROCK MUSIC." - Willy Clayton of Hooker Studio Productions, Pennsylvania-US

Lunarian. Hailing from South Jakarta, Indonesia on November 2006 before started for being musically serious in 2008. Flowing in alternative/rock/experimental, you may imagine a groovy combination between Bloc Party, Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails and classical music.

After years of struggling to finish recording as well as changing line-up a few times, the band started gigging again in the mid 2010 with solid formation.

The online promotion done by the band itself has proven quite effective, their songs have enjoyed radio-plays as far as countries in America, Europe Australia and South-East Asia, featured on a live interview with a big independent radio in New York, many independent radio-shows, online labels & managements' roster. They also have been in a compilation released in India, released 2010. The song "Fire" was one of the official soundtracks of Rockstar Wrestling. They received good responses & reviews from people hearing their music and having contact with them and finally helping to raise their name in global indie scene.

The EP called Experimental Thinking released Aug 14th, 2011 through Phoenixx Records (Manchester-UK) on online stores. The first LP will be released in mid-2013.

Whatever the achievements are, the band is about how to stay original with the attitude. The band have their struggle and as far as the future goes, they will never stop creating, performing and keeping the music alive.

Xenophobia

Written By: Rivelino Ismaya

Can’t you hear the whispers, outside of these walls?
Knocking out all silence
Everything is pure, and curing me for sure
Before I learn about fools

Emotion disorder, running to my nail
How can I shut my ear?
Am I moving slow, or those feet are too fast
I think I’ve learn about fools

(Learn ‘bout being my self)

You can’t hear me moaning
Shadows on my ceiling
Last time I pretending
You will see tears dropping

Please not this reflection, too honest to be mine
Do you know what I need now?
Fuck you all
Faster fall

You can’t hear me moaning
Shadows on my ceiling
Last time I pretending
You will see tears dropping

You can’t hear me moaning
Shadows on my ceiling
Last time I pretending
You will see tears dropping

Proclamation: Phantoms

Written By: Rivelino Ismaya

Dear son, pull a seat and throw your stone, have a backbone for we know that we're all alone,
Like a phantom, we will move inside curtain, fact a fiction, thing that goes around for our sons
Soldiers, sing a song for the unborn, put your blades down, for we'll have a talk with the sun
Get your head down, leave your armor on the ground, have your suits on, different battlefield, different bomb

Universal, accidental
We don't counter, imperfection
Right mother earth?
Revolution, impossible
Allegation, human nature
Right mother earth?

Dear son, pull a seat and throw your stone, have a backbone for we know that we're all alone,
Like a phantom, we will move inside curtain, fact a fiction, thing that goes around for our sons
Soldiers, sing a song for the unborn, put your blades down, for we'll have a talk with the sun
Get your head down, leave your armor on the ground, have your suits on, different battlefield, different bomb

Bow down, before center of the planet,
Let the soul alive
And our voice are in same path with the lords
(come on, come on, come on, come on)
Everything goes, everything will falling down

Universal, accidental
We don't counter, imperfection
Right mother earth?
Revolution, impossible
Allegation, human nature
Right mother earth?

Bow down before you close the door
You can't ignore

Dear son, pull a seat and throw your stone, have a backbone for we know that we're all alone,
Like a phantom, we will move inside curtain, fact a fiction, thing that goes around for our sons
Soldiers, sing a song for the unborn, put your blades down, for we'll have a talk with the sun
Get your head down, leave your armor on the ground, have your suits on, different battlefield, different bomb

Hunchback Patrol

Written By: Rivelino Ismaya

I'm on a run, from a humble metaphor
I'm on a run, being hungry all night long
I see a tree, is it real or am I sleepy
What do I see, today I'm not taking pills

In case you missed it, I'm the one who keeps you near
In case you missed it, I'm the one who drive your fear
Town full of monkeys, my eyes play a trick on me
Where do I go, can I dump this on the road

Here and now, you turned me off again
A dream to blame, it pulls me out refrain
A kiss is to share, but the home is where the heart is

Well, said the wind, that you're only gone searching
Shimmering things, like the snow under sunbeam
I don't believe,
Except they're priest

Here and now, you turned me off again
A dream to blame, it pulls me out refrain
A kiss is to share, but the home is where the heart is

A dream to blame, it pulls me out refrain
A kiss is to share..

Here and now, you turned me off again
A dream to blame, it pulls me out refrain
A kiss is to share, but the home is where the heart is
Home is where the heart is
Home is where the heart is
