I live in…
the south Florida area. The music scene is a bit segregated. I haven’t really seen artists collaborating or working with each other here and the artists who are popular don’t usually put other people from the town on or share their platform… but that’s just my observation.
Success is..
Stability, and being able to take care of your immediate and extended family. But also getting paid to do what you love.
What piece of music advice forever changed your way of thinking:
To produce music that your following enjoys is not always about creating what you want to hear. Most of the time it’s about creating a sound for the consumer that they are searching for. You have to listen to your audience and respect their needs to build a community around your sound.
I never wanted to quit…
Music is my life. I do not have a plan B. I have been singing since I was four years old. It’s all I know.
Goals…
To become successful first and foremost. Second would be for my music to resonate with people, and work with some of my favorite producers, writers, and artists.
I am in the process of accomplishing my goal for this year.I wanted to have a single completed, mixed, mastered and played around the country. My video is also in the process and will be released soon. - Jacqueline Jax

Lush God Biography
David Robinson a.k.a. Lush God started singing in church with his brothers at the young age of four David years old. Their group was called "Junkman Jimmy". Junkman Jimmy is a combination of his grandfather’s nicknames. His grandfather on his mother's side was known as the junkman in the neighborhood his mother grew up in, and his grandfather on his father's side nickname was Jimmy because his real name is James. Due to normal life circumstances, David started his solo career in late 2016. Lush God was born in Rochester, New York and currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Lush God is signed with Chronic record label, located in Nassau, Bahamas. Not only does he sing and rap, but produces his own music as well. With feeling every word that he writes and records, Lush God brings his emotions out from a place where he identifies within his life. He fuses gospel with R&B, pop, rap and lays down the foundation for his seductive songs. From church boy to street life, Lush God recognizes both worlds. He is neither hot nor cold, isn't a gangster, however he is not a saint either and this is shown through his music.
He strongly believes that the music industry needs more originality! Lush God grew up listening to all genres of music from every decade. He grew to love artists that were all different. As long as they were creative and talented, they caught his ear. The day and age we are in now, the game is about making quick money and quick music. The quality that music once had is slowly fizzing out.

Nelson for influencing Lush God's artistic style. To him, he is the
"architect of artistry", a "God to him". Other contributors
to his style are Andre 3000, Brandy, and Ryan Leslie. Lush God strives to
become a legend and have his name mention amongst theirs.
Lush God's goals are to bring something refreshing, new, timeless, and most of all something his listeners can believe in. He is a singer, church boy, R&B head first and foremost, all the rap and "rap singing" stuff is secondary but still a necessity. G
Lush God debut single “We Snapping” is gaining some traction on the internet, with over 25000 plays on Soundcloud and gaining fans daily on Reverb Nation. The song has generated the snap dance craze which will be featured in the video coming soon to a channel near you. In the words of Lush God, "I am who I am".
