Bio
Lustrine was formed in 2005. The concept was to develop a very cinematic sound with influences anywhere from early electronic music to folk, southern goth, swing jazz... ranging from D. Ellington, to Wire, Swans, to Sun Ra to Hildegarde de Bingen. People remark that we have a captivating live show and it has probably to do with the careful attention to the sounds and visuals we generate. We evoke a certain romanticism and glamour that attracts a very unique and diverse audience. We are told that our sound is lush, hypnotic and memorable.
