UKSS| Jan 29 — I Support UK Soca is always ecstatic when there is a new release on the UK soca music circuit, especially when the song is home built, delivering what it sets out to do….. releasing the built up tension and getting the cold ridden, pent up muscles moving again with delight and ease. With a heavy rotation already on play, ISUKS is pleased to announce the highly anticipated follow up single from the talented soca duo, Lutenants, “Waterfall”.
Opening up with the soothing sounds of water cascading and dropping right into the expertly produced riddim “Beautiful”, by SD Productions, Lutenants premiered their single over the weekend and to date this has already amassed approximately 630 views on YouTube alone, a number that is set to soar with repeat rotation and repeated requests.
A testimony of their continuous hard work to date, their evident talents and unique voices, ISUKS reached out to the duo on the day of release, to gather their thoughts on what inspired the single and to enquire on the state of affairs for 2013.
Thoughts on “Waterfall”, the single:
‘The concept brings out the natural vibes that we felt the Beautiful riddim had. We purposely developed this concept knowing that it should directly appeal to all Caribbean Diaspora.
Relaxation is something We West Indians Love, So we hope that waterfall is received well’.
So Lutenants, what’s the agenda for 2013:
‘Well….We…..
1. Are focused on creating high quality music with the same consistency that the major international stars provide, this is our main objective for 2013.
2. Our presence may not be felt at shows or competitions this year BUT Musically We Are Aiming To Dominate!!!.
And dominating the musical sound waves, they definitely are.

Socavision had the pleasure of talking to the guys about their fantastic new release Waterfall. When asked about the song this is what the guys said.
“Waterfall Is Aimed Directly At The Caribbean Diaspora. We Wanted To Aid Their Reminiscent Woes By Creating A Song That Would Remind The Diaspora Community, Why They Love The West Indies So Much.”
There is obviously a lot more to come from this talented duo and following their journey will be an interesting one. Special mention must be made of producer Sean Dickson of SD Productions who is making some really special contributions to soca music at the moment.
There is a really nice movement going in the UK at the moment and that gives us all a really good feeling.
