Luxjive is taking on a new twist in the realm of live electronic music performance; combine the dancer with the DJ- By
creating, building and implementing a proprietary software controller to enhance a theme of 'human interaction with the
machine'. Drew Thurston is the producer for the group, playing the live parts on a baritone synth guitar & bass hybrid that
allows for many different (live) sounds and textures to be accessed, while the Arc Array panels trigger other elements such as loops/ samples & sound effects.
The journey for Luxjive has just begun, and will evolve as more music sub-genres are explored as well as blending
more technology with live music and dance performance. The video promotional clip and music are just a sample of what's
to come.
