"Cornwall Entertainer Follows New Career Path"

Lydia Adams Davis has a long history as an entertainer, but two years ago her career path took a sudden turn. In the spring of 2008, she met Kathy Byers at a seminar for the Children’s Music Network at Huntington Arts Center. The connection was immediate and since then the two have been professional partners. Page 12.

Lydia has shared the stage with Tom Paxton, Pete Seeger, Odetta, Utah Phillips, Rod MacDonald and Holly Near.Lydia has gained new presence of her original works on www.appleitunes.com and www.cdbaby.com through re-mastering her well received, original, acoustic/country folk CD entitled: Take Me Back with New York’s talented, producer/ recording guitarist John Guth.

• Singer-Songwriter - writes, produces and records high quality CD’s/mp3s in the acoustic, country-folk, contemporary genre. Presents unique, educational, enlightening programs rich in history, environmental lessons and pure musical entertainment with live improvisation.

Singer-Songwriter, Recording Artist Lydia Adams Davis has vivid memories of family time around the piano in Maine, when she struck a major chord with her sister in song and in vocal harmony that set her music aspirations on a lifelong journey.

Lydia’s proven destiny somehow showed that the year 2008 would provide and promote stage opportunities on which, songs she produced and recorded with award-winning guitarist, John Guth, would be received and applauded in enthusiastic, standing room only venues.

Cornwall, New York was where Lydia grew up. Lydia has returned. But with an armful of life’s stories treasured in heartbreak, passion, comic inspiration and love.

An independent artist, Davis defined Three Feathers Music as her label and publishing company. “Birds of a feather stick together”, Lydia would say of her brother and sister who totally stood by her first all-original, self-produced release, "Gift of Story".
