Lydia Cant Breathe

Today rock and metal music seems to have been masked, manipulated, and drawn in every characterization possible. Stagnate duplications in today's music scene have left pools of curiously aggressive music addicts wanting something different. A growing number of these looming fans looking for an outlet have found Florida quartet Lydia Can’t Breathe. Over the past few years they have made a lot of noise in their once dying metal scene and have watched it come back to life. Constructing a blend of music unique to the usual genre classifications, this metal/rock band from Florida defies the normal sound with an exciting mixture of screams and natural vocals which range from brutal to beautiful, and from silly to serious. Their music provides a prism of heavy and soft styles with catchy progressions and surprise genre changes which distinguish them from the pack.

Lydia Can’t Breathe, also known by LCB and often shortened to Lydia, is a unique American rock band from Central Florida. Formed in 2005, LCB consists of Kyle Bolduc (lead vocals, guitar), Dan Wilson (guitar), Shad Roundy (bass, background vocals) and Josh Runfeldt (drums). All four members were born in the United States, and are known for their funny personalities. Dan influences the heavier side of their music with his catchy riffs and brutal breakdowns. Josh comfortably manages the diversity of the band with a variety of styles and time signatures on drums, and Shad maintains the low end with plenty of movement and character. Lead singer, Kyle, is known widely amongst Lydia fans for his unique writing style and the views that are expressed outspokenly in his lyrics. Along with his infectious behavior while performing, their array of styles combined make up the sound of Lydia Can't Breathe.

The band has achieved independent success with the release of multiple EP's and their full-length studio album (At The Bottom Of The Podum Stole) released under Spinnit Records. As LCB continues to embrace new fans at home, they draw more and more of their fan base from outside of their native Florida. Drawing from the support of their growing production team, booking agents and other organizations, friends and fans, collectively they have been able to drive more sales of albums and merchandise by playing hundreds of shows over multiple tours all over the eastern United States including FL, GA, LA, TN, NC, SC, VA, MD, PA, DE, NY, CT and MA with plans to continue westward.
