Bio
Lynda DeFuria is a Las Vegas raised, Berklee College of Music graduate, and award-winning singer/songwriter. With the combination of her heartfelt, quirky, songwriting and powerhouse vocals, Lynda's piano driven pop/rock music will catch your ear and your heart.
An already seasoned performer at the age of 23, Lynda has performed at The Sydney Opera House, The GRAMMY Foundation's GRAMMY Camp Showcase, aboard Holland America Line's cruise ships, and national TV's "Showtime at the Apollo." An Off-Broadway musical theatre actress as well as a songwriter, Lynda has new performed in debut works such as "Honestly Abe," "The Mirror Show," PUMPED, and "Barcode." The release of her debut 5-song EP Alive, has garnered prestigious recognition having won The Berklee College of Music Songwriting Competition, FUSION Magazine's Songwriting Contest, and most notably, taking 1st place in BMIs 2011 John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship Competition for her song "Where You Stand."
Lynda is currently promoting her recently released 2nd album "Ticking Clocks."
