Lynn Patrick’s self-produced, instrumental CD, Winnie’s Guitar won top honors in the Independent Music Awards 2002. Judges included Tom Waites, Ricky Skaggs, Meshell Ndegeocello and Wilson Pickett. The competition was sponsored by Musician's Atlas and Border Bookstores. Her third CD, When She Dreams, made Colorado's KUNC top five acoustic albums the year it was released and Fort Collins’ Riff music magazine voted When She Dreams one of the year’s top five albums.

Recently, When She Dreams won second place, out of 10,000 albums, 45 genres and 85 countries, best instrumental album by the Just Plain Folks Awards 2004, a Web-based independent music organization with more than 25,000 members.

Both albums have been used for transitional breaks on NPR's All Things Considered, Morning Edition, Talk of the Nation, and Living on Earth. Residents throughout Colorado hear it daily as transitional music on Colorado Public Radio's news shows.

Patrick has opened concerts for the likes of Dan Fogelberg (Red Rocks), Karla Bonoff (Boulder Theatre), Cheryl Wheeler (Black Forest Acoustic Society), and grammy award winning Peter Kater (Chautauqua). She has played New York´s Bitter End, Bluebird Cafè in Nashville; Rocky Mountain Folks Festival, Denver's Swallow Hill, Taste of Colorado Festival, Cherry Creek Arts Festival, and many other prestigious venues and events locally and nationally.
