"Red Hawk: a civil war journal" Lynn Routzahn has set the poetic writings from Ken Postalwait's series of books on the personal life of the civil war soldier . Postalwait's books are done all in poetry which Routzahn has soulfully and tastefully adapted to his unique music stylings. Truly a work for the ages!

Born and raised in the hills of Western Maryland Lynn Routzahn acquired an eclectic taste in the mid/late 1960’s for the music that is now considered timeless. At 8 years old he struck his first chords on a cheap guitar and now after 47 years he has developed a style that is second to none.

Lynn played his first bar gig at age 15 in 1970 and during that golden decade became a mainstay of the local circuit in the PA,MD,VA, and WV region. Playing everything from rock, country, folk, pop, and bluegrass he honed his performance skills while gaining a wealth of knowledge in song styling and a knack of writing catchy tunes.

In the early 1990’s after switching back and forth from band member to soloist he finally focused wholly on his solo work with acoustic guitar. Now almost 20 years later he possesses a guitar technique and vocal ability that totally captivates his audience.

He has entertained everywhere from biker bars to black-tie affairs, weddings, funerals, the White House (oh yes), countless pubs, bars, taverns, and clubs. Lynn does what no one else does and does it like no one else can do it!

Lynn has won several awards over the years for some of his original tunes and they are sure to perk your ears.
His new CD- "RED HAWK:a civil war journal" (co-written with Ken Postalwait of Sequin Texas) was released in December 2012 and is available on I-Tunes,Amazon, Rhapsody, and others for you to download. GET YOUR COPY NOW!!!
