LYON is a 3 piece original heavy rock/metal band that formed in 2009 in Perth, Western Australia. Dave Lyon (Guitars/Vocals) and Mick Colangelo (Drums/Vocals) have been song writing, performing and touring together for several years. Their passion for music and drive led them to meet Natalie Pokorna (Vocals), who is an established Music/Promotions manager for local original acts. Sometime later and by chance discovery, Natalie’s years of singing and dancing were revealed and her secret was out! As a result, LYON was formed. All members of LYON contribute to song writing. The fusion of Dave’s brutal yet emotive guitars and vocals, Natalie’s medieval and folk style vocals and Mick’s versatile and powerful drum sound, have defined LYON’s diverse, unique and well constructed songs. The combination of LYON’S extensive musical experience and promotional abilities has seen LYON develop into a well organized outfit with a distinct sound. LYON is an unsigned act that is continually developing and promoting their product in the pursuit to attract recording, touring, publishing and management opportunities.
