LYREBIRD BLUES BAND is a four piece fronted by Pete on guitar and vocals with Kate on piano, blues harp and harmony vocals. The songs are story-based, ‘good time’ blues covering a wide range of styles within the genre.
LYREBIRD FOLK is fronted by Kate Henshaw on lead vocals, playing recorder, squeezebox, harmonica and piano. Pete plays guitars and sings. Working as a duo Lyrebird Folk play original storytelling Celtic and Trad folk with a contemporary slant.
LYREBIRD STUDIO is the studio recording outfit where songs from pop and country genres come to life. Pete owns and runs a busy Sydney recording studio and is the in-house producer and these recordings feature intricate arrangements including strings, woodwind, layered guitars, keyboards and vocals.
