This yr Lyrical had gotten hit by a car, by these 5 45yr old women who started a conflict with her...She blacked out, was taken to hospital, left with severe damages to her knee. While she was at home and could not move, she was stuck in bed and it just hit her...and all the anger, and pain she was going through her lyrics started flowing...this has always been her dream, so she started making beats, and writing more lyrics and it all came together.
Lyrical n Alicia are two female hiphop artists. Lyrical has written ever since she was a kid, as she grew older she knew music is what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.
Alicia has always loved music and singing, Once Lyrical heard Alicia sing, that was it...they become a team.
Lyrical n Alicia are very different from other bands. In each track they will try n hit every type of rythme, From slow hiphop, to fast, to upbeat...its a mixture. From hitting topics about Lyrical getting hit by the car, to hitting topics about the wars, our soldiers, to pain of family, to love, to death.
Major influences for Lyrical without hesitation is Eminem.
For Alicia it is the amazing voices of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston...the list goes on.
