Bio

G Rock and DL Poet were born and raised on the streets of Chicago. After both G Rock and DL Poet graduated from Carl Schzurz High School, they attended Wilbur Wright JR College. G Rock majored in broadcasting communication and he also worked with many of the college’s youth programs. While attending college at Wilbur Wright, DL Poet majored in communication as well. Aside from his studies, DL was highly sought after for the school’s basketball program. Lyrical Tribe were devoted members of the Logan Square Boys and Girls club which kept them heavily active within the community. Later on they befriended another talented MC by the name of I.N.F.O. (Intelligence Needed For the Opposition), who’s love and hunger for the music was on the same page as there’s. I.N.F.O. also born and raised on the Westside (Garfield Park) of Chicago graduated from Flower Vocational High School. His love for hip hop music started at an early age djaying local block parties and for family and friends, then decided to jump into the field of rap. Expanding with his knowledge and love of music, I.N.F.O. is now a producer. Through the mix of it all and for their love of music through the hip-hop culture, they remained focused and dedicated to taking their careers to the next level. They’ve gained their skill of entertainment from street rhyming, open mic sessions, backstage and radio interview and countless openings for major artists across the country. Their artistic abilities have placed them in major arenas like the Aragon Ballroom, the UIC Pavilion, The Clique and The Arie Crown Theater to share the stage with headliners such as Too Short, Twista, Common Sense, Wu Tang, Nas, Mary J. Blige, and many more. They took their experience and their hunger, which was once a dream and turned it into a reality known as LT Entertainment business. You may listen to Lyrical Tribe’s music online at I-Tunes, Rhapsody, or Napster. We are live on the web at www.myspace.com/ltentertainment
