After 6 years it's arrived. The debut album "LYRIC ROAD".
This project has seen alot of twists and turns but has now
come together to create 9 solid tracks of great music. With song styles varying from todays top 40 to modern rock, and softer ballads like "Alone" and "Long Night" this band touches on all their musical influences and does it well.
Finding its roots out of Cleveland, Ohio the singer/songwriter of the group Dave Matelske Jr. started his musical training at age 4, studying classical piano at the Cleveland Institute of Music, and his musical career at age 7 playing in his fathers wedding band. After the tragedy of his brother-in-laws death Tod in 1999, Dave made the decision to truly pursue his dreams. "After you see how short life can be it really makes you realize you need to do what really makes you happy." In tribute to Tod, Dave created the project LYRIC ROAD (named after the street where Tod lived) and has been pursuing the dream ever since.
"Our goal is simple, we just want to write good songs and hope people like them."
